Description
The 2024 Team Acorn Triathlon Club is for athletes ages 18+ of all ability levels that are interested in a fun, supportive USAT certified multisport club. The 2024 season will run March-August and focus on a late summer/early fall triathlon. 2024 membership will include entry into Kickapoo Triathlon, weekly workouts posted on team calendar , access to USAT/Ironman certified coaches, indoor pool workouts, additional optional group rides/open-water swims, scalable team training plan focused on July/August short/long course races, Discounts on products and select local races. Whether you are all new to this sport or looking to compete at the front of the pack, Team Acorn Triathlon Club will support you every step of the way.

Team Acorn Triathlon Club will begin in March 2024 and conclude at the end of August. Group training will continue into the fall for those athletes racing a fall event.

Are there any requirements?
SWIM Athletes must be able to swim 50M unassisted in a pool setting.
BIKE Athletes must provide their own bike and proper helmet and be able to ride it safely.
RUN Running shoes and a good attitude. Simple
When do we meet?
Organized team practices will begin early April and run through July.
Workout schedule will be available to club members on Training Peaks
Optional Open water swims.
Where are we racing?
Team Acorn Triathlon Club is for athletes of all levels. Our training plans will prepare athletes for short or long course races. Our short course target races will be Kickapoo Triathlon as well as Tri Indy. For those going long we will be focusing on Ironman 70.3 Louisville in August.
There are many more optional races throughout the season to prep for these goal races.
We will kick off our racing season at Thunder in the Valley right here in Terre Haute.
