Description

Youth Summer Track Club for kids ages 2-18.

This Track & Field program has 2 options. BASIC MEMBERSHIP is for those that want the 10 weeks of practice & instruction and (1) Track Meet at the end on July 24-25. SELECT & FULL MEMBERSHIP is for those that want the 10 weeks of practice & instruction as well as participation in a select number, or all of the Track Meets throughout the summer.

First Practice is May 22. Attendance to all practices IS NOT REQUIRED. Kids are free to attend any or all practices that their busy summer schedule allows.

All Track Practices will be held at Greenwood High School

IMPORTANT - All SELECT & FULL members will have the option to compete in the StateQualifier Meet in Midland TX on July 17-18. Those that qualify for the State Meet will have the opportunity to attend the TAAF Games of Texas State Track Meet July 30-Aug 2 in College Station, TX.

*Funding assistance from sponsorships will be provided for travel to the State Track Meet, however, there could be some additional cost associated with this event.

*Parents are responsible for transportation for the kids to and from all Track Meets.

Age Groups – For kids ages 2-6: They compete based on their age the day of the competition. For kids ages 7 and older: A child’s age is based on their birth year. So whatever age they turn during the calendar year of 2026 is what age they will be considered to be for competition purposes. For example: if a kid is 8 right now, but will turn 9 on October 15th of 2026, then they will compete as a 9 year old. If they are currently 8 and do not have their next birthday until 2027, then they will compete as an 8 year old.

VERY IMPORTANT - Upon registration, please make sure that you list an email address that is checked regularly as ALL COMMUNICATION REGARDING PRACTICES AND TRACK MEETS WILL BE COMMUNICATED VIA EMAIL.

Basic Membership

10 weeks of practice and instruction. Includes entry into (1) Track meet on JULY 24-25 in Midland. Practice will be 2 nights per week on Tuesday & Thursday from 7:00-8:00pm. Attendance to all practices is not required. You choose what practices you want to attend based on your Summer Schedule.

*All Tiny Tots ages 6 and under as of Dec 31, 2026 choose this option. You will have the option to add more track meets at an additional cost at a later date.

Cost is $149
