Welcome to the WolfPack PUPS Youth Triathlon Program! We offer two pathways for young athletes — the Development Team and the Travel Team — designed to meet each athlete’s goals, experience, and commitment level. Whether your child is new to triathlon or ready to compete regionally, there’s a place for them on our team!
🌱 Development Team
The Development Team is designed for athletes who are learning the fundamentals of triathlon. It emphasizes skill development, fitness, and fun, with an introduction to racing in a supportive environment.
Includes:
- 6+ team practices on weekends (swim, bike, run sessions)
- Technique-focused training (form, transitions, safety)
- 5+ Local fun races and time trials
- Option to purchase Team uniform and coaching support
- FREE Entry to 2026 Finger Lakes Silver Youth Duathlon (5/30/2026)
- FREE Entry to 2026 Finger Lakes Canandaigua Youth Triathlon
- Season: May–September
Ideal For: Athletes ages 7–16 who are newer to triathlon or prefer a non-travel experience.
Cost: $125
🏆 Travel Team
The Travel Team is a competitive program for experienced youth triathletes ready for regional and national-level racing. It includes structured, high-performance training and race support across all disciplines.
Includes:
- Everything listed in Development team offering plus...
- 2-3 structured training sessions per week
- Advanced coaching featuring progressive, phase-based training plans
- Travel to regional and national youth triathlon events
- Strength, nutrition, and race strategy sessions
- Season: February–October with option for indoor group rides in winter
Ideal For: Athletes ages 10–18 with prior triathlon or multisport experience seeking higher-level competition.
Cost: $200 + travel expenses + team tri kit
