Welcome to Team BC!

We ride to pay it forward; to provide hope to those with cancer now and for those who will be diagnosed with cancer tomorrow; to fund the breakthrough research that will lead to the next successful treatment, which is so close, so tantalizingly close.

We ride to sneak in one last day of summer; to experience the unexpected; to enjoy the camaraderie of the Breakthrough community along the route (and at the food truck and beer picnic after); to learn of the latest successes and personal triumphs as well as the losses over the past year; to celebrate being cancer-free; to conquer the hill at mile 35; to banish hospice as a viable treatment option.

We ride to thank healthcare providers and the countless others who work long shifts, nights, and weekends in their tireless efforts to cure cancer and care for those with cancer.

We ride to honor the memory of those who died too soon, before we could find a successful treatment.
