Hot off the press, the 2025 Dust Bowl 100 Technical Guide is now available (click the PDF above to view). The goal for this Technical Guide is to provide you all of the details you need for a successful trip and memorable Dust Bowl 100 presented by Zipp.

Even if you're a past Dust Bowl 100 participant, please make sure to review this updated Tech Guide in its entirety as updates have been made from previous versions.  Here are a few of the key changes/additions to this year's Tech Guide:

  • Pages 7-10 give the full agenda/timeline for the weekend.
  • Check out page 18 for details on how to win a set of Zipp 303 XPLR wheels!
  • The Vendor Expo will take place on Friday from noon to 8:00pm and we have a ton of great vendors lined up; see a list of some of those on page 28.
  • Eminence is home to fewer than 100 residents.  That means the population of the town grows over 12x during Dust Bowl weekend!  So, as you can imagine, we use every available parking lot in town, plus a few fields, to squeeze everybody in.  You can find the parking map on page 11.  And we certainly encourage carpooling if you are able!
  • For those with friends or family traveling with you, please be sure to review the outside support rules as well as the spectator guide, both on page 24.
  • Please read the course info on page 14 as there are a few hazards on course that we call out.
  • Page 25 includes information on how to attach your timing seatpost tag, as well as a info on a new live tracking option that will be available this year.
  • Check out Zipp's Four Tips to Make You Faster at the DB100 on page 32 and FasCat Coaching's 4 Training Tips for the DB100 on page 29.
  • We've provided a gear checklist on page 31 to help ensure you arrive with everything you need on race day.
  • Discounts from SILCA, Tailwind, Rudy Project, and Aqua Systems are included throughout the Tech Guide, so make sure you don't skip any pages!
  • You still have time to sign up for an on-site camping spot (page 35), reserve a meal at the Friday night lasagna dinner (page 8), and/or get your kids registered for the free Kids Race on Friday night (page 8).

Again, we've tried to provide as much information as possible in this Tech Guide, but if you still have any questions please feel free to reach out directly and we'll do our best to respond in a timely manner.
