Need to change your race category (distance)? Please follow instructions below to update your registration. 

Prior to race weekend:

If you decide to switch from the Olympic distance to the Sprint (or vise versa), please let us know by email prior to race day. The deadline to switch race category by email is May 14. Please send email to racedirector@ripitevents.com.

Prior to the start of the race:

Participants may elect to switch from the Olympic distance to the Sprint (or vice versa), at packet pick up. Please let us know when you pick up your race bib.

Switching during the race: IMPORTANT

For Olympic participants - If during the race, you decided not to complete the required distances, you will be removed from the race results (marked as DQ) and will not be eligible for awards.

For Sprint participants - deciding to complete the olympic distance during the race is NOT permitted.
