WHAT IS MY RACE AGE?
All participants shall compete based on their age on December 31, 2026. USA Triathlon dictates that an athlete's age for all sanctioned races is determined by their age on December 31 of the competition year. Athletes "age up" at the beginning of the year, not on their actual birthday. For example, if you turn 35 anytime in 2026, you will race in the 35-49 year old category for the entire year.
The Pre-Race Course talk will be held at 4:30 PM on Saturday, April 11 at the race venue. This info session will cover important information about the race and include a question and answer segment.
TRANSITION AREA
IMPORTANT - The transition area will open at 7:30 AM race day for the adult race. It will open at 10:00 AM for the youth race. Please note that the adult race will still be in progress when the transition area opens for the Youth race. The transition area is for ATHLETES ONLY and 1 adult/guardian/or sibling 15 yrs & older (both of which need to wear their wrist band). This is a FIRM USA Triathlon rule: No pets, siblings or non-competing people in the transition area during the race.
*If you would like to be inside the transition area during the race, please consider volunteering.
There is no body marking for this race.
Find your assigned bike rack space (by bib number) in the transition area. A sticker with your bib number will be on your rack space.
Bike racks will have signs with letters. (So, you can remember where you racked your bike.)
FLOW OF THE TRANSITION AREA
The flow of the transition is slightly different then typical triathlons. One side of the transition area is run AND bike "In", the other side is run AND bike "out". Click on the images below to view the flow of the transition area. ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR UNDERSTANDING THE FLOW OF THE TRANSITION AREA.
