Rumpus in Bumpass Triathlon

This race benefits multiple local athletic and civic groups including our series charities; The Special Operations Warrior Foundation and the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

The Special Operations Warrior Foundation provides full scholarship grants and educational and family counseling to the surviving children of special operations personnel who die in operational or training missions and immediate financial assistance to severely wounded special operations personnel and their families.

Founded in 1967, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation (CBF) is the largest independent conservation organization dedicated solely to saving the Bay. Our motto, "Save the Bay," is a regional rallying cry for pollution reduction throughout the Chesapeake's six-state, 64,000-square-mile watershed, which is home to more than 17 million people and 3,000 species of plants and animals. The CBF leads the way in restoring the Bay and its rivers and streams.

Please consider making a donation to these worthy causes during the registration process.
