Helping the Moms at St. Jude House. St. Jude House is a domestic violence shelter here in Crown Point. We asked the staff what the moms needed most? Moms need help in paying for childcare, help with car repairs and gas cards to assist moms in getting their children to and from daycare. If we could choose one, the staff says, "funding for childcare would be awesome!"
Helping Moms at Embrace Grace. Embrace Grace is raising money to provide single and pregnant moms with baby items that they will need for their new family.
Embrace Grace is a local program that provides support to single & pregnant moms teaching them the skills they will need as a new mom and providing a community that will empower and encourage them. Moms make new friends and meet other young, unmarried moms who are going through similar situations.
