Verrado Youth Triathlon

4-6 year old- SWIM 25 yards, BIKE .4 miles, RUN .3miles (fun, with parental assistance as needed to complete the course, no age group awards).

7-8 year olds-SWIM 100 yards, BIKE 1.2 miles, RUN .6 miles (timed with top finisher trophies).

9-10 year olds-SWIM 100 yard, BIKE 1.2 miles, RUN .6 mile (timed with top finisher trophies).

11-12 years old - 150 yard swim, BIKE 2 miles, RUN 1 Mile (timed with top finisher trophies).

13-14 years old - 150 yard swim, BIKE 2 miles, RUN 1 Mile (timed with top finisher trophies).

BIKE HELMETS MANDATORY! NO HELMET = NO RACE.

2024 Verrado Youth Triathlon is in support of Kinley!
This years Youth Triathlon will benefit Kinley, age 6. The inspiration behind Kinley Strong. In the summer of 2023, Kinley was diagnosed with B-Cell ALL Leukemia. She has shown so much courage and strength from day one. Since those initial 10 days at Children’s Hospital in Phoenix, Kiney has undergone months of chemo, steroids, ER visits and several surgical procedures. Just as hard is how Kinley is isolated from her friends, classmates and all the typical 6-year-old activities. It has not been easy, but she continues to smile and inspire everyone daily. Kinley will wrap up intense chemo treatment the middle of January. She will then be able to rejoin her first grade class at school and participate again in some of her favorite activities - swim, dance, and soccer. Kinley will continue with maintenance treatment for the next year and a half! We look forward to ringing that “We beat Leukemia” bell the summer of 2025. We are extremely excited to have two time Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist Jodie Stimpson and four times Ironman 70.3 winner Danielle Lewis join us to discuss their experience as professional triathletes, offer advice, and answer your questions!  The event is free to attend, and will be informative for all ages and ability levels, from first time youth triathlon participants to seasoned Ironman distance triathlon finishers.  We will have product giveaways at the event courtesy of Rudy Project and synergy!    

Free Youth Triathlon Clinics - Build your confidence before race day!
1)  March 30th, 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM - Swimming clinic, meet at The Center on Main lap pool (wear swimsuit, have goggles, cap(if desired), water bottle, towel)
2) April 13th, 10:00AM - 11:00 AM- Bike and Run clinic, met at Walton Park playground (have bike, bike helmet, water bottle, socks, running shoes)
3) April 20th, 10:00AM - 11:00 AM- Bike and Run clinic, met at Walton Park playground (have bike, bike helmet, water bottle, socks, running shoes)
4) April 20th, 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM - Swimming clinic after Bike/Run clinic, meet at The Center on Main lap pool (wear swimsuit, have goggles, cap(if desired), water bottle, towel)
