Meet our Charities:
Apollo’s Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization based on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, dedicated to bridging the digital divide through community-based programs. Our flagship program, MY Tech Clinic, offers a welcoming, non-judgmental setting where community members can drop in to ask questions about their devices and software, with volunteers providing support and guidance, which fosters positive intergenerational connections in the process.
MY Tech Restore is our newest program, where we refurbish donated devices to support our tech clinics and provide them to other nonprofits serving communities in need, giving technology a second life and keeping e-waste out of landfills. We are committed to promoting digital equity through multiple avenues, and by supporting Apollo’s Dream Foundation, you will help to expand access to digital skills and tools, empower individuals, and build a more well-connected community.

Athletes Serving Athletes (ASA) is a non-profit organization that brings people together to experience the joy, excitement, and thrill of competition. ASA offers innovative athletic training, supportive mentor relationships, and high quality endurance events for athletes living with disabilities. ASA uses athletic activity as a catalyst for personal development—improving physical fitness, increasing self-esteem and empowering challenged youth to meet their highest potential. We inspire all people to give of themselves and live more active lifestyles, pursuing a high quality of life and achievement. Our WINGMAN Program is specifically designed to empower ASA athletes living with little to no mobility, but whose hearts hold the desire to race in mainstream running events, the opportunity to compete. Each of these ASA athletes is supported by his or her own unique WingMan Team. We look to volunteers to raise money and awareness for Athletes Serving Athletes serving as a WingMan or a member of the ASA Road Crew which does not physically “push” an athlete.

Chesapeake Conservancy is a nonprofit organization based in Annapolis, Maryland. We are a team of conservation entrepreneurs. We believe that the Chesapeake is a national treasure that should be accessible for everyone and a place where wildlife can thrive. We use technology to enhance the pace and quality of conservation. In addition, we help build parks, trails and public access sites that inspire other to protect the Bay and tell its rich cultural history.
We are looking for volunteer fundraisers to join our team this year to support the Conservancy and promote the creation of the Chesapeake National Recreation Area (CNRA). The CNRA would designate a collection of new and existing parks and public lands along the Bay as a recreation area, under the umbrella of the national park service. These sites would benefit from the resources of the National Park Service to help improve the visitor experience, improve public access to the Bay, protect the natural environment and tell an interesting story about our region. The CNRA will raise the visibility of the Chesapeake Bay as an important resource, encourage upcoming generations to protect the Bay, create sustainable jobs, and increase private investment in the Bay region.
