Auburn Gold Rush 5k

Welcome to the Auburn Gold Rush 5K Run/Walk presented by the Bowman School Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). Race is on Sunday, April 21, 2024 featuring a fun run or walk through Auburn, the heart of Gold Country.

This event is open to everyone in the community to get out and enjoy Auburn! Kids and adults of all ages are welcome to run or walk this beautiful course through Auburn. Race starts and and finishes at Railhead Park while passing through downtown Auburn and by the Gold Rush Museum. Proceeds from the race will help make improvements to the playgrounds at Bowman School. 

All participants will receive a cotton race shirt if registered by April 1st. Pricing is $35 for kids (13 and under), $40 for general. A family discount ($3 off each registered runner when you register 4 or more together).  Same day registration is available at $45 for adults. Shirt not guaranteed for those registered after April 2nd. All finishers will receive a finishers medal and there will be numerous age group awards for both kids and adults.

Also, fun team awards! All participants are encouraged to join a Bowman class team to help a Bowman class earn a special reward for the most participants. 

Participants will also receive information about the Gold Rush Museum which will be free to visit after the race (open 10:30-4 pm).

Race will include chip timing by Singletrack Running thanks to our bib sponsor Foothill Electric!

Bib Pick up at the Auburn Aid Station, 927 Lincoln Way, on Saturday, April 20 from 1pm - 3pm or Sunday, April 21st from 7:30am to 8:30am.
