Description
NOTE: We have put this site together very quickly in order to accomodate the new venue. There may be errors and omissions as it was coppied from our regular Lake Evans Triathlon. We will be making adjustments/fixing errors in the next few days.
The Shaver Lake Trathlon has moved to Lake Evans in the Buena Vista Recreational Area.
Due to the Garnet Fire, there is significant fire-fighting activity in and around Shaver Lake. The fire continues to spread, and air quality has been shifting rapidly between good and hazardous as wind conditions change.
We have received official notice from the Sheriff’s Office that the Triathlon cannot take place at Shaver Lake on September 14.
With short notice, Kern County Parks & Recreation has graciously allowed us to relocate the event to Lake Evans on the same date.
