Description
Why:
Work on race skills, learn a new sport, hang out with your friends, learn from some Olympians, get outside in Boulder before school starts again, and much much more!
Who:
Anyone between ages 9-16, all skill levels who wants to learn more about triathlon and have some fun. Camp will be broken down into groups based on age/skill and experience level. Needs to know how to swim and should own a bike (any type is fine!). Loaner bikes available, reach out for info!
What:
4 day camp, 3 hours per day leading up to the Rocky Mountain Tri Fest at the Boulder Reservoir on August 9. Race is optional but campers are strongly encouraged to participate. Camp will focus on preparing campers for the race on Saturday
When:
Monday August 4th through Thursday August 7th, 9am-12pm each day. Lunch not provided, we ask campers to pack snacks each day

August 4, 5, and 6 - East Boulder Community Center

About the Coaches:
Summer Rappaport is a USA Olympian from Tokyo and is in her 11th year on USA Triathlon's National Team still competing on the World Triathlon circuit.
Kevin McDowell earned a silver medal in the relay at the Olympic Games in Tokyo and currently races 70.3 events and serves as a guide for the Paratriathlon National Team.
Chelsea Burns is a former USA Triathlon National Team member and since retiring has coached for the Collegiate Recruitment Program as well as in the NCAA at the University of San Francisco.
