All levels welcome. This is a family friendly event followed by a brunch for all race families. We are very lucky to be partnered with Camp Harkness who provides annual use of their beautiful facility for all participants to enjoy this event. Children/teens can discover what it is like to have fun competing in a triathlon event. Event will be timed with 5 splits. Awards are based on finish time. Every child receives a medal at the finish line and trophies will be given to the top three finishers (male and female) in each age division. This event will mark the third event in our Triple Crown series. Every child who registered for the TRIPLE CROWN and particpated in all three events will receive a special award at the awards ceremony immediately following the race at the pavilion. NOTE* All participants 11 years and over will be swimming in water over their head. All children 7-10 years old will be able to touch most of the time. Lifeguards (many) will be spread along the route to assist as needed.

Lifejackets can be worn in the water. Training wheels can be used. This event is for all ability levels. We will have first time triathletes as well as athletes that have raced in over 50+ races. FINAL online deadline to register is September 10 at midnight OR until 350 spots are filled. Registration (limited spots) will be taken Saturday on race day between 6:30-7AM only. Cost of race day registration will be $35. Register by August 25 to get your child's name on their race bib!
NOTE: To receive a Triple Crown trophy the participant MUST have completed all three races.
Race clinic will be held Wednesday, September 9, 6:00-7:00 PM. FREE- no pre-registration required.
Packet pickup will be offered at 1) the race clinic, September 9, 5:30-7:00 PM 2) in the New London Recreation Office 111 Union Street, New London, Thursday, Sept. 10th, 8:30-4:00 PM or 3) onsite race morning 6:45-7:30 AM. OPTIONS! If you want to avoid the line, pickup your race packet prior to race day BUT don't forget to bring your timing chip, bib and cap with you race day!
