What do I get with registration?

  • Colts 5K: Performance t-shirt, race bib with timing chip, finisher medal, and access to post-race activities
  • Blue’s Fun Run: Youth t-shirt, medal, and the chance to run through the stadium tunnel

Is a game ticket included with registration?
As a part of the checkout process, every Colts 5K and Blue’s Fun Run registration has the option to add-on a mobile ticket to one of the following home games:

  • Sunday, October 26 | Tennessee Titans vs. Indianapolis Colts
  • Sunday, November 30 | Houston Texans vs. Indianapolis Colts
  • Sunday, December 28 | Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Indianapolis Colts

If you need more tickets, please select them when claiming your add-on ticket to the game.

Can I register the day of the event?

No, you may register online until Friday, September 5. It is recommended to register early for a discounted price and to ensure your packet arrives via USPS prior to race day if you elected to have it shipped. 

How does packet mailing work?

  • Register by August 4: Your packet (shirt + bib) will be mailed by August 20
  • Register after August 4: You must pick up your packet in person

How long does it take to receive my packet?
Packets ship via USPS and may arrive in 2–10 days. Items may arrive on separate days.
If your packet hasn’t arrived by September 1, go to the registration page and click “Questions” under Race Contact Info.

Where and when is packet pickup?
Colts Pro Shop – NW corner of Lucas Oil Stadium
• Thursday, Sept. 4 | 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
• Friday, Sept. 5 | 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM

South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium - in between parking gates 6 & 7.
• Saturday, Sept. 6 | 6:15 AM – 7:15 AM

Can someone else pick up my packet?
Yes. They’ll just need a copy of your registration confirmation (digital or printed).

Can I exchange my shirt size?
Yes, only on raceday!  Stop by the packet pick-up tent after 8:00 AM on race morning. Exchanges are first come, first served and not guaranteed.

Is there a bag check?
Yes. Bag check will be available in South Lot of Lucas Oil Stadium, in between parking gates 6 & 7.

Can I bring a bag into the stadium?
Yes, but all bags are subject to search. NFL Clear Bag Policy will be enforced.
 

Do I need to fill out a waiver?

All participants are required to to fill out a waiver, which is included in the registration process.

What if I registered and cannot attend?

There are no refunds or transfers for the Colts 5K. Game tickets may be transferred to another person to use through the Colts Official App.

 

GAME TICKET

 

If I add-on a game ticket, where will my seats be located?

All tickets will be assigned in the 600 level of Lucas Oil Stadium. Seats will be assigned based on availability at the time of your race registration. 

I’m planning to attend with other Colts fans. Can we all sit together?

Yes, depending on ticket availability, registering together is the best way to ensure that you and your friends will sit together. To ensure seating with fellow 5K participants, ALL REGISRATION CODES must be applied within a single transaction at the time of purchase.

When do I receive my game ticket?

Colts ticket is available for redemption seven (7) days after registering.  Instructions regarding claiming your game ticket will be in your registration confirmation email. 

 

COLTS 5K DETAILS

Where do I park?

Free parking will be available in the South Lot at Lucas Oil Stadium on a first-come, first-served basis. For all other parking options or directions to Lucas Oil Stadium, check out the Colts Gameday Parking.

Is ADA parking available?

Yes! The South Lot offers designated ADA parking spaces.

What time does the race start?
The Colts 5K kicks off at 8:00 AM on Saturday, Sept. 6, followed by Blue’s Fun Run at 9:30 AM.  Arrive early to allow time for parking and packet pickup.

Where does the race start and finish?
The race begins outside Lucas Oil Stadium and finishes on the 50-yard line inside the stadium.

What is the course like?
The 5K winds through downtown Indy and into Lucas Oil Stadium. A course map will be provided in advance of race day.

What is the course time limit?
There is an 18-minute mile pace limit set for the final starting group.

Is there a time limit to complete the 5K?
Yes. Streets reopen to traffic after approximately 1 hour.

What is the minimum age for the 5K?
Participants must be at least 7 years old. For younger runners, parents are encouraged to run alongside their child.

Can I run with a jogging stroller or wheelchair?
Yes, strollers and wheelchairs are welcome. For safety, please begin near the back of the pack.

Will there be water stations?
Yes, hydration stations will be available along the course and at the finish line.

Is the race route accessible for guests with mobility needs?

Yes, the race route is accessible for guests utilizing mobility devices.

What if it rains or there’s severe weather?
The event is rain or shine. In case of severe weather (lightning, high winds, etc.), an update will be posted at Colts5K.com by 5 PM ET on Friday, September 5.

  • A second update will be shared by 6 AM on race day
  • If a delay is needed, the race may start as late as 9:00 AM
  • If canceled, a Virtual 5K will be offered and medals will be mailed
  • No refunds or transfers will be issued

What happens after the race?
Stick around for the post-race party on Lucas Oil Plaza, located inside the North Gate of Lucas Oil Stadium

Can family join runners on the field?
Spectators are welcome to enter Lucas Oil Stadium at the North Gate to cheer on runners from the stands or field.  Spectators may also join the post-race entertainment on Lucas Oil Plaza.

Do spectators get to go inside the stadium?

Yes, race spectators are encouraged to join their friends for the post-race celebration located in Lucas Oil Plaza to watch them cross the finish line and enjoy post-race activities.

Will there be winners?

Yes, we will award prizes to the first, second and third place overall and first, second, and third of each age group.

 

CONCESSIONS

Will food and drinks be available?

Limited concessions will be available on-site. Family-friendly snacks and drinks will be offered.

Can we bring our own food or drinks?

Outside food and beverages are not permitted, except for infant and toddler needs.

 

BLUE’S FUN RUN

What is Blue’s Fun Run?
A kid-friendly 1K (~0.62 miles) run that ends inside Lucas Oil Stadium, including a tunnel run and a medal for each finisher.

What is the distance?
Approximately 1 kilometer (0.62 miles).

What ages can participate?
Open to children ages 4–12.
Children 7 and under must participate in our Kid Check program - verifying matching wristbands of child/adult.

What is the Kid Check Program?
MANDATORY for kids age 7 and under:

  • Two matching wristbands come with the child’s bib
  • One goes on the child, one on the accompanying adult
  • Both are needed to exit the finish chute
  • Accompanying adult not running with the child may only access the finish line area with the matching wristband

Can accompanying adult run with their child?
Absolutely!  Accompanying adults do not need to register themselves for Blue’s Fun Run—just wear the wristband included with your child’s bib.
