No. Headphones and earbuds are strictly prohibited in all USAT-sanctioned events. This ban applies to all three legs of the race—swim, bike, and run—as well as inside the transition area.
Packet Pickup is located in the parking lot of Deer Creek State Park Beach Area and is situated near the finish line.
Yes. Participants may register online via a mobile device on race day.
Parking is located in the western end of the parking lot at the Deer Creek State Park Beach Area. There is overflow parking available about a half mile away once this lot is full, and there will be signs and volunteers to direct you to this location if necessary.

The start line for all events that involve a swim is located on the Deer Creek State Park Beach.
The start lines for all events that do not involve a swim is located just outside the "Run Out" side of the Transition Area.
The official finish line for all events except the aquabike is located in the east end of the Deer Creek State Park Beach parking lot. The aquabike finish line is the "Bike In" of the transition zone. Aquabikers can feel free to dismount their bikes and cross the common finish line with all the other athletes.
There is no gear check, but athletes may leave their gear/personal items in their respective zones within the Transition Area.
Yes. On the run leg, there will be two aid stations available per 5k loop. There are no feed stations for the bike portion of the race.
Water, HEED, and Hammer Gel will be available at the runner aid stations, as well as some to be announced, athlete-friendly solid food.
Yes. There will be portable restrooms available in the parking lot, as well as permanent facilities located near the beach.
Yes. All athletes will receive a race T-shirt at packet pickup, and a finisher's medal upon completing their race.
