All races follow an out-and-back format on the beach path.
➤ 5K
🔁 Turn at the pink flag (5K/10K sign)
🏁 Finish under the blue arch
➤ 10K
🔁 Turn at the pink flag
🔁 Complete 2 loops before finishing
🏁 Finish under the blue arch
➤ Half Marathon
🔁 Turn at Mile 2.19 (yellow flag)
🔁 Complete 3 loops
🏁 Cross the timing mats and finish under the arch where you started after your final loop
🏃♀️ 10K & Half Marathon Runners – Heads Up!
If you're running the 10K or Half, you'll be doing out-and-back loops on the beach path.
After you reach your turnaround flag (pink for 10K, yellow for Half), your next turn is at the CaliFlow Runs Tent — look for the big Runner U-Turn sign.
✨ Important:
Be sure to go all the way to the U-Turn sign — we have timing mats there that need to pick up the chip on the back of your bib in order to properly track your loops.
Once you've finished all your loops, you'll run straight into the same finish line you started from under the blue arch! 🏁
