Don't miss this opportunity to celebrate PRIDE with us. During the next 20 days (June 5 - June 20, 2021), you can run/walk this race virtually, anywhere, in any direction. Now you have the option to participate in one of 5 meet-up events. The official meet-up will take place at the Congressional Cemetery in DC (our traditional race site) on June 12, 2021, Saturday, from 8am-noon.
Base registration is only $30. This will include a participation medal and discount coupons from Pacers Running and DC Brau. We will not have any in-person packet pick up this year. During registration, at the T-Shirt Option, choose your t-shirt to purchase your t-shirt ($8) and pay for shipping ($7). If you only want the race packet without a t-shirt, choose NO RACE SHIRT. If you only want to participate and forgo race packet and t-shirt, choose NO RACE SHIRT & NO RACE PACKET. IMPORTANT NOTE: Race packet and t-shirt will not be available before the race. They will be mailed to you after the race, most likely in late July.
This year's race proceeds benefit local charity organizations serving our LGBTQ+ and youth communities. Your base registration helps us put this race together and raise funds for these charities.
In addition, we strongly urge you to donate additional funds or create a fundraising team to help us raise additional, much-needed funds for these charities who are in need during the pandemic. Last year, thanks to our participants and other sponsors, we were able to distribute $50K to these charities. Your continuing generosity is much appreciated.

Small In-person Meet-up Opportunities:
|In addition to running or walking the DC Front Runners 5K this Pride season, you also have the opportunity to bid on oodles of cool stuff in our online auction! This year’s items include: original art, fitness packages, date nights, a wine tasting, DC history and Costco tours, gardening and pet lover packages, and more. Auction runs from June 5 through June 20, so log on, bid often and with abandon, knowing all proceeds go to support our six charity organizations.|
Whether you run, walk or just cheer others on, please consider fundraising for our charity partners? You can make a donation here or organize a group of runners and walkers as a fundraising charity squad here!
Our designated beneficiary charities received a record amount from the 2020 Virtual DCFR Pride Run 5K!
This year's race proceeds benefit local LGBTQ and disenfranchised youth organizations, including the Team DC Student-Athlete Scholarship, Wanda Alston Foundation, Casa Ruby, Teens Run DC, Blade Foundation, and Ainsley's Angels of America (National Capital Region).

DC Front Runners is a running, walking, and social club for LGBTQ people and their friends in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We are open to all people regardless of race, pace, age, gender, sexual orientation, or athletic ability. Our group is very diverse with respect to speed, distance, and intensity, and we encourage and support all who participate. While membership is encouraged, you do not have to join to give us a try!
Our club has almost 400 active members. In addition to our group runs and walks, we sponsor many social events so you can make new friends and join other members for dinner, happy hour, or other activities. Some activity reductions are in place during the local pandemic restrictions.
