SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Don't Fence Me In Scholarship removes financial barriers that may prevent community members from participating in the event. PPLT will offer up to 10 scholarships per year. The scholarship covers the full registration fee for the applicant’s choice of event (50K, 25K, 12K Race, 12K Hike, 5K Race, 5K Dog Walk). Recipients who apply before Feb. 28 will also receive a custom 10-week training plan based on their event and current weekly mileage. Please apply for a scholarship if financial barriers would prevent you from participating.
Requirements
- Scholarship recipients must be residents of Lewis and Clark, Broadwater, Jefferson, Powell, or neighboring counties and at least 13 years old on the application date.
- Parents/guardians can apply for minors ages 13-17. If a minor receives a scholarship, a parent or guardian will be required to register that individual for the event.
- Individuals can only receive one scholarship per individual per year, but can apply multiple times (i.e., for additional family members or if they are denied and would like to resubmit with additional information).
The application deadline is April 30, 2026.
Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
