Getting To The Race
Transition is located at 4601–4699 W South Jordan Pkwy, on the north side of Oquirrh Lake. You will see a large gated construction area. Gates should be open. The transition is just behind the new Harmons.

Parking Info
Due to construction, the area north of transition is fenced. Enter through the fence just before Harmons. You can park on the the streets  anywhere around the venue. Please do not park on the west side of the lake as that is part of the bike course. There is plenty of parking at the LDS church at 4842 W Vermillion Drive.

Transition
The transition will open at 5:30 AM. You will have an assigned spot based on your bib number so no need to show up early for a spot. You must have your wristband on and your bike labeled with your race number in order to enter transition in the morning and exit transition after the race. All race items must be located under your bike at the rack. Do not store any items along the fencing or at the end of the racks. These items will be removed. Swim Start Info
Individual Time Trial Start

All Olympic Distance athletes should be ready to go at 7:30 am. The Sprint race starts at 8:00.

Elite racers will go first (there isn't an official Elite wave). We will then go in order of youngest to oldest. We will keep the time trial start going regardless of age groups. Each racer will have an individual start time. So be ready! We get all the athletes in the water pretty quickly.

Warm up? You are welcome to get in the water prior to the start to warm up.

The Sprint race starts at a fishing doc. Racers will hold on to the dock until they are told to start. Again, this goes pretty fast so be ready.

The Olympic swim starts at East Lake Beach and is a shallow water start.

Bike Course Info
The bike course begins as athletes exit in the SW corner of the transition area onto the cobblestone pathway, heading towards Lake Ave.  Athletes will be required to run alongside their bikes on the pathway until they reach the mounting zone on Lake Ave. Riders will continue along Lake Ave as the road follows the perimeter of the lake, with the road eventually turning and heading West towards Mountain View Corridor.  As athletes head West, they will cross train tracks at Grandville Ave. There is a traffic light at the Trax crossing and athletes MUST stop at this intersection at a red light. (The train departs from the nearest trax station approximately every 20 minutes and takes less than 5 seconds to clear the intersection).  Any athlete that crosses through the intersection during a red light will be disqualified from the race. Traffic officers will be assisting at this intersection.

There will be an aid station just outside of transition and Water & Carbo Rocket at mile 11.5.

Run Course Info
The run course will begin at the transition area and follow the paved trails around Oquirrh Lake. The 3.1 mile loop will be completed once by Sprint-distance racers and twice by Olympic-distance athletes. The run course is flat and smooth and should make for a fast race to the finish. With good sight lines, racers will be able to see the competition and challenge each other to the finish.  The run course will be marked with Yellow arrows.

There will be an aid station at the start and at Mile 1.5, 3.1, 4.5 with water, Carbo Rocket and candy.
