Founded in 2015 and headquartered in Long Beach, California, K9 Kismet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, all volunteer, foster-based rescue serving the Los Angeles/Orange County area. We are an all-breed rescue that believes in the compassionate rescue and rehabilitation of dogs who are likely to be overlooked or deemed less adoptable due to age, health, emotional state, or breed. When funds allow, our secondary mission is to help pets stay in their homes with the families who love them by offering the owners assistance with medical care, food, and other supplies.
