You can't make it out but you want to contribute right? Awesome!! These events are only possible through donations of time and money from people who believe in the mission of 510 Hikers and want to contribute to the success of community events like this. I used to believe a few bucks wouldn't make a difference, it does and from this end, with costs and a razor thin margin to make this affordable for everyone, everything is appreciated!!
We will be awarding top 5 highest donation amount givers with bottles of wine the day of the race. In addition, any donation in the amount of at least $50 will receive a bottle of wine and a post race mention in the donation section write up.
The donations go to covering event costs at the lake for the day, kids entrances and community groups who we want to invite and offer reduced registration for. There are kids out there who we will make their Spring if we can reach them and offer them pricing they can afford and we can get away with!!
