The Rotary Club of Flagler Beach is proud to be a part of a global network of 1.2 million members in over 200 countries who dedicate their time and talent to tackle humanitarian issues. Donations to Rotary make it possible for us to host community-wide events, help local people in need and provide sustainable projects abroad. Some of our present and past projects include:
- Host the annual Christmas & Fourth of July parades in Flagler Beach
- Organize Flagler Flag Project, displaying 200+ flags throughout the county
- Fund $8000 in High School Scholarships
- Supply monthly books to all children in the 32136 zip code through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library
- Teach local youth how to be problem solvers in their own community through leadership, mentorship and service opportunities
- Financially support numerous nonprofits totaling more than $15,000
- Internationally, we have built wells in Africa, helped the indigenous Tarahumar farmers in Mexico to grow and save seeds and protect water resources in ancestral Canyonlands
