This year's Charity Partner is Second Judicial District CASA Program, Inc.
They are a nonprofit organization dedicated to advocating for the best interests of children who have experienced abuse or neglect and are involved in the child welfare system. CASA trains and supports community volunteers who are appointed by judges to serve as independent voices for children in foster care. These advocates work to ensure that each child’s needs are heard and met, both in court and in the community, with the ultimate goal of helping them find safe, permanent homes as quickly as possible.
