Jaime Pinaire started his teaching career at the Robert Treat Academy, a charter K-8 school in Newark, NJ, in August 2014. On his way home from teaching at their Saturday classes and tutoring a student, he was tragically killed in a car accident in December 2014.  The James A. Pinaire III Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, was created in Jaime's memory to carry on his dream of helping students realize their academic potential.
