The goal of 3DPT's Oktoberfest 5K is to raise $10,000 for "Throw Cancer A Curveball". This is the charity that benefits a dear friend of ours, Danny Hill, who battled bone cancer (osteosarcoma) for 8 years. Danny taught us many lessons about toughness, bravery and positivity in the face of adversity. 3DPT was lucky enough to become close with Danny and his entire family and are happy to create this 5K as a way to give back to their charity.
All donations to "Throw Cancer A Curveball" will be donated to the food pantry at St Christopher's Hospital to serve cancer patients and their families in need.
