While the Toledo Roadrunners Club is non-profit organization, many of its events have a charity partner. In this case, we have two charities:
1) SewHope, a local non-profit in Toledo that partners with the poor, marginalized and exploited in Guatemala to help end the injustices of poverty and bring about sustainable communities. Women's health, specifically cervical cancer prevention, is also a significant part of their mission. You can read more about SewHope and their mission at https://www.sewhope.org/. 100% of this donation supports SewHope!
2) Metroparks Toledo the home of the Falling Leaves runs. Its mission is to conserve the region’s natural resources by creating, developing, improving, protecting, and promoting clean, safe, and natural parks and open spaces for the benefit, enjoyment, education, and general welfare of the public.
