This year’s donations will support the Stoughton High School Band Boosters!

When the Syttende Mai Classic moved its start and finish to Collins Field in 2025, we looked for new ways to celebrate our runners and the community. Local musicians were suggested—and the Stoughton High School Rock Band was the perfect fit. They brought amazing energy as runners crossed the Finish Line last year, and we’re thrilled to welcome them back for 2026!

The Rock Band is an auditioned ensemble that rehearses weekly, featuring a rhythm section (keyboard, drums, bass, guitar) and wind instruments (saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritones). Other instruments may join with director approval. The group also performs at winter home basketball games.

The SHS Band Boosters—made up of SHS band parents—support the program through volunteering, fundraising, and coordination. Every parent of a student in the band program is automatically a member.
