Tri the Rez Triathlon
About as flat as you can get in Tallahassee.
The 1/3 mile swim will start on the white sands of the FSU Reservation's beach at Lake Bradford. Swimmers will head out into the lake, make a right hand turn, another right hand turn, then come in to shore via the boat ramp. The swim will start in waves of no more than 100 people, spaced 3 minutes apart.
The 13 mile bike course is out and back down Lake Bradford Road, Capital Circle, and Springhill Road. However, on Springhill, bikes will turn right onto Lost Lake Road (National Forest Road 375), follow the one-way loop, and head back out to Springhill to return to the Rez. The bike course will close at 10:00am.
The 5k run course starts with a short loop inside the Rez, goes out onto Flastacowo Road, turn right on Lake Bradford Road, right again on Longleaf Road, turn around, and finish inside the Rez. There will be a water stop between miles 1 & 2 (which also means between 2 and the finish). The run course will close at 10:45am.
