Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon
The 13th Annual Gillie Girl Sprint Triathlon is an all women's triathlon, specifically started to encourage women to engage in the sport of triathlon, build a health community and raise money for breast cancer research. This event has grown to a comfortable size and the energy is amazing. The day is designed to have a family friendly atmosphere with great food, live music and activities for the kids. This event has donated over $150,000 to breast cancer research. That volume of money equates to 3 research grants funded!!! Racers will swim and ride the same courses as those in the triathlon, but when you are done biking, you are finished with the race! This is a great way to participate in the multisport lifestyle without the run.
