Marathon

The course is a stunning mix of historic mansions, sweeping ocean views and beautiful tree-lined streets of the City by the Sea. The second half of the race takes you past popular Second Beach, Purgatory Rock, the Norman Bird Sanctuary and the quiet back roads in Middletown, RI.

The course is USATF certified and is a Boston Marathon Qualifier.

The Beach Mile

The Beach Mile will start at 11:30 AM, on the beach adjacent to the finish line. It is an out and back on Easton’s Beach, finishing under the Race Arch. As the race is on the beach, please plan for uneven surfaces, beach debris, seaweed, shells, all those wonderful items that we love about the ocean. This will be part of the challenge of completing the course.
