Good evening,
Thank you for coming out today for the 2021 Game On! Ponte Vedra Beach Triathlon, Spring event. Today was disappointing for everyone. We ALL wanted to race. Unfortunately, severe weather caused our race to be canceled. We work so hard to create a safe racing environment in these challenging times, but the weather is one thing we just cannot control. Athlete safety and the safety of our staff, volunteers, and spectators is, and must be our number one priority. Please know, we are as disappointed as you. We appreciate your patience and understanding.
As you can imagine much goes into planning and executing an event like this, parks, permits, police, lifeguards, emergency medical services, staffing, volunteers, t-shirts, bibs, medals, etc. etc. etc. It would be nice if we could have a “do-over” next weekend, but sadly that is not possible.
Because Game On! has incurred the full expense of this event, unfortunately, refunds are not an option. We are extremely grateful for your support and want you to feel good about racing with us. We would like to offer you the following choices (choose one):
1. Since you picked up your race numbers and t-shirt, do this event “virtually” and receive your finisher medal in the mail.
2. Receive a 25% off discount on any 2021 “Game On!” race, any distance including our half iron event the Game On! Treasure Coast Triathlon on November 14th.
3. Receive 50% off the October 11, 2021 Game On! Ponte Vedra Beach Triathlon OR 2022 Game On! Ponte Vedra Beach Triathlon (Duathlon, or Aquabike included), Spring.
Please reply to this survey by May 1st.
Thank you again for your support. We look forward to seeing you at another Game On! Race Event soon.
Willie Savoie & Brian Huether, Co-owners

Game On! is bringing Ponte Vedra Beach 2 races again this year! The first Ponte Vedra Beach Olympic & Sprint Triathlon will take place on Sunday, April 11, 2021. We will be back again on Sunday, October 10, 2021.
Nestled comfortably between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra Beach has a rich and unique history. Ponce de Leon, a Spanish explorer best known for his pursuit of the legendary “fountain of youth,” is believed to have landed on what would later become Ponte Vedra Beach on April 2, 1513.Today, this thriving community has come to be considered one of the most luxurious and prestigious recreational and residential destinations in Florida, if not the entire country. It was voted Money Magazine’s “Best Place to Live in Florida” and among the top 50 places to live in the United States.
This destination race will be hosted at Mickler's Landing and will include an Olympic distance Triathlon, Duathlon and Aquabike as well as the Sprint Triathlon and Sprint Duathlon. The swim will take place in the Atlantic Ocean, with a scenic bike course taking you South on A1A through the Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve (GTM Research Reserve). Finish with a run North on Ponte Vedra Blvd taking in the views of the lavish homes and jaw-dropping oceanfront settings. Upon first sight of the meticulously maintained resort-style community, you’ll instantly understand why it was ranked one of the “Best Places to Live in United States”.
