Activities and Entertainment
There will be plenty of things to do during the Flutter Run, whether you are participating in the 5K or just attending as a spectator. Hangout on the Mallway and play some yard games or explore the blooming outdoor gardens and the Scotts Miracle-Gro Foundation Children’s Garden. All participants are granted free admission to the Conservatory for the day, which will open early at 9:00 am. Food trucks - Java Brava and OohWee Smoothie - will also be available during the event to purchase food and drinks.
After the 5K, join us for Metamorphosis Flow - a free, 60-minute vinyasa yoga class themed around pollinators! We will flow from a caterpillar to a butterfly, learning from our pollinator friends about the productive rest of metamorphosis. This session, led by Olivia French, is open to all registrants and caters to all ages and abilities. Metamorphosis Flow will start at 10am in the Wells Barn. You can find Olivia on Instagram @slowtheshelldown
And stick around for Pollinator Palooza, the Conservatory’s free annual summer festival to celebrate birds, bees, butterflies and all of the other creatures that make our gardens grow. This event starts at 11:00 am and is held in the Scotts Miracle-Gro Company Community Garden Campus, southeast of the Conservatory.
