The 5 Miler and 5K are flat and fast, and the 2 Mile is flat. The Short Course Duathlon (2 mi run / 5.5 mi bike / 2 mi run) is beginner friendly. The Long Course Duathlon (5K run / 11 mi bike / 5K run) is challenging, with one 8% quarter-mile hill. Course maps are on the Course Maps page.

Teams are 2 people. Register for the Short or Long Course relay, create a team name and finish registering. Your teammate then registers, chooses your team, and gets 50% off.

The 5 Miler, 5K and both Duathlons are chip timed. The 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk and Kids Only 3K are untimed.

Top 3 overall male and female in the 5 Miler, 5K and Duathlon, plus top 3 male and female in each age group: 10–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79 and 80+.

No. Awards must be picked up before you leave. If you can’t make it on race day, contact us before race day and we’ll do our best to hold your shirt.

Yes! Every finisher earns the Great Peace Valley medal.

Park in the Peace Valley Park lots near Sailor’s Point. Arrive early — lots fill up before the first start.

Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome in the 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk — you’ll see plenty of both! Please keep dogs on a short leash and start toward the back.

The race is held rain or shine.
