Mississippi's Giant Houseparty (The Neshoba County Fair) will open on the Friday before the race, welcoming visitors from all sections of the state and nation.
The Neshoba County Fair has been tabbed as “the nation’s last true remaining campground meeting,” and “the world’s largest campground meeting.”
Over 100,000 visitors are expected for this year’s event, including temporary residents of the fairground’s over 600 cabins and 575 campers.
The Heart O’ Dixie Triathlon, nationally known entertainers, horse racing on Mississippi’s only licensed race track, a rodeo, antique car show, flea market, livestock shows, beauty contest, talent contest and round-the-clock partying will highlight this year’s week-long festival of fun.
