• Race morning packet pickup begins at 6:30 AM.

• If you did NOT pick up your packet early, plan to check in 1 hour prior to your corral start time.

• Corral C Start: 7:30 AM (for those anticipating a 13:00/mile pace or slower

• A/B Corrals Start: 8:00 AM
  ⏳ The course closes promptly at 10:30 AM.

Corrals help participants line up according to their anticipated pace or finish time.
When you register, you’ll enter your estimated pace/finish time and be automatically assigned to a corral.

• Corral C (starts 7:30 AM): For participants pacing 13:00/mile or slower, allowing extra time to finish within the cutoff.

• Corrals A/B (start 8:00 AM): For all other participants.

• Yes! But for safety:

  • Strollers and dogs must start at the back of the group.

  • Dogs must remain on short leashes (no retractable leashes).

  • Music must be low enough to hear those around you.

• Flat, smooth 6.55-mile route through the Rocky River Reservation

• Southbound start on Valley Parkway, turnaround at Morley Ford Dam

• First half on road, second half on paved all-purpose trail

• Three water stops: mile 1.5, 3.2, and 4.5

• Restrooms: at mile 1.3 & 4.7

• Easy, accessible parking near the start/finish area

• Restrooms available on the northwest side of the Marina

• Carpooling encouraged!

• Yes! Raise a glass to your finish with a complimentary Buckeye Vodka cocktail or soft drink, courtesy of Around the Corner in Lakewood. Show your race bib to enjoy special brunch offers and a warm, welcoming post-race celebration!

• No strict pace requirement - walk or run at your own pace!
  Just note:

  • Corral C participants (13:00/mile or slower) start at 7:30 AM

  • The course closes at 10:30 AM

• No - the event will be held rain, snow, or shine! In rare cases, the course may be modified on race morning for safety.

• Yes! You will need to pick up at early packet pickup.
• Items are not mailed, but you may schedule a pickup during business hours (M–F, 9 AM–3 PM) at: Hermes Sports Office (2425 W. 11th St., Cleveland, OH 44113)

A timing mat will be placed one mile from the finish line. Anyone who runs their final mile faster than their first 5.5 miles is eligible for the Fast Mile drawing!

Injury or Scheduling Conflict?

We understand that things come up, so we offer flexible options for runners who can’t make it to race day.

Similar to a concert ticket or plane ticket, registrations are non-refundable. 

🕟 Free Event Transfer

If you can’t attend, you can gift your registration to another runner for free through your RunSignUp account. This can be done anytime before packet pickup. More info HERE

🕟 Race Packet Pickup

• Even if you can’t participate, you’re welcome to pick up your race packet, at packet pickup, which includes a novelty bib, t-shirt, and finisher medal.
  We do not mail out race materials. 

• We also offer participants to pick up their race materials (up to 30 days after the event) at the Hermes Office. Call or email before stopping in.
