It’s that time of year again – the Hyattsville Zombie Run will take place on October 18th! Volunteers for Zombie Run want to make sure the community is aware of road closures that will affect most of our community.

Please note that some Hyattsville neighborhood streets will be closed from 7am-11am on Saturday October 18, 2025 for the Hyattsville Zombie Run - a 5k fundraiser sponsored by the Hyattsville Elementary School PTA and benefiting dozens of area schools.

Roads will be closed and there will be no parking along the race route, residents will not be able to drive on these roads during the road closure hours. 

Neighbors! On Oct 18, 40th Ave will turn into the Zombie Zone for the , and we need YOU to make it the loudest, liveliest stretch of the course – Blast some music, ring bells, wave a sign, rock a cartwheel! The louder, wilder, and spookier, the better. After that, join us at Driskell Park for food, community, and more Zombie fun!

Cheer on our racers at 8:45 a.m. (1K Family Fun Run) 9:05 a.m. (1 mile Kids' Challenge) and 9:30 (5K Zombie Run).
