At Ronald McDonald House Charities of Idaho, they are a home away from home for families of children receiving medical care. They provide lodging, meals, and other services at no cost to families. They are a network of support, understanding, and care that helps families face the burden of their child’s illness together. Families already carry the weight of complex medical needs, jobs, caring for other children, and mounting medical and out of pocket expenses. At RMHC of Idaho, they care for the family so they can focus on their ill or injured child. In 2025, they served 2,494 families. They provided 9,370 nights of lodging saving families $1.25 million. Since 1988, RMHC of Idaho has stood beside families from southern and southeastern Idaho, eastern Oregon, northern Nevada, and beyond. Their programs provide services through the Ronald McDonald House in Boise, the Ronald McDonald Family Room in Idaho Falls, and Happy Wheels Hospitality Carts in Boise and Twin Falls.
