Lace up your running shoes and experience the beauty of Springfield’s natural landscapes at the Abe Lincoln Trail Trek 5K/10K on June 14th!
This scenic race takes place in one of Springfield’s beloved parks, Carpenter Park. It features amazing views of the Sangamon River, winding trails through lush woodlands and peaceful river bottom fields. Along the way, you might spot deer, squirrels, and a variety of native birds that call this area home.
Whether you're tackling the 5K or 10K, you'll enjoy a well-marked course with a mix of terrain that’s perfect for both seasoned trail runners and those looking for a fresh outdoor adventure.
🎽 All participants receive a race T-shirt and a commemorative finisher medal! Awards to the top finishers overall as well as the top finisher in 10 year age brackets.
