Coming into town and looking for a place to do your pre-race run? Come join us for Thursday and Friday Pre-race runs at John Hunt Cross Country Park. This park is home of RunningLane Cross Country Championships. It has both a grass running course and a rubberized running path! Come and get a preview of what your fall championship season could look like! 

Thursday Night: 5:00pm at John Hunt Cross Country Park 

Seed times can be submitted from January of 2025 and can be edited by event staff up to registration closing for the event. 

For this meet we do have cutoff times for entry to ensure the meet moves smoothly and in a quick fashion. Seed times will be what divides heats. Heat sizes and numbers will depend on number of entries. If you are in a state that runs 1500m, 1600m or 3000m please make a reasonable conversion to the mile and 3200m. The final two heats of the night will be the championship heats. Seed time is what qualifies you for those heats along with a 2 auto qualifiers from the RunningLane XC Championships.

Boys 400m: 1:10

Girls 400m: 1:25

Boys 800m 2:30

Girls 800m 3:00

Boys Mile 6:00

Girls Mile 6:30

Boys 3200m 12:30 

Girls 3200m 13:30 

2K Steeplechase, OPEN RACE HAVE NO CUTOFF TIMES 

If the athlete plans on doubling (running multiple events i.e. the Mile and the 3200m), the first event is $25 ($30 for late registration) and the second event will be discounted $15. This is only possible if you are registering for 2 events in a single sign up period. If you register for one event on a Friday and decide to add another event on a Saturday, the discount will not be automatically applied.

GATE FEE/ ADMISSIONS: All athletes participating in RTC will receive athlete wristbands. 

Adults: $10 per day or $18 for the weekend (Friday & Saturday)

School Aged Kids are $5 or $9 for the weekend.

Kids under 6 are free.

Medals will be given to top 8 overall finishers of each event.

RunningLane Track Championships

We are PUMPED to announce that the Embassy Suites will be the host athlete hotel for the 2026 RunningLane Track Championships! We will have an exclusive athlete recovery room (normatec boots, massage guns, foam rollers, complimentary gatorade etc) that is FREE for athletes staying in the host hotel. There are only 75 rooms available and these will go fast. You will be able to book your room through us during the registration process. We are happy to announce that parking at Milton Frank Stadium is free for all participants and spectators. There is plenty of parking for all to have an easy time getting into the venue!
