Description
#DoYouGiveARuck? is partnering with Valor Healthcare's non-profit division Valor 4 Veterans to raise $50,000 for the Coalition for Attainable Homes. We've moved our 5k ruck march event to November 12th to combine with another impactful Veteran fundraiser, the 3rd Annual Veteran BBQ Competition.
We will start at Dyer Chevrolet, while other teams will ruck virtually in their community across America. These rucking events will raise donations to combat a growing problem in our nation- Veteran homelessness. Our goal is to raise $50,000 for the Coalition for Attainable Homes to provide homes for our Nation's heroes.
This ruck march is a 5k and not a race. In the military, you start together and you finish together. One team, one fight and no one gets left behind. We will start at Dyer Chevrolet and ruck through the Ft. Pierce community for a total distance of 3.3 miles.
We ask that you wear a backpack or rucksack packed with non-perishable food, hygiene supplies, and nonbreakable baby item's for donation at the end of the ruck. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO DONATE YOUR PACK.
This event will include food trucks, live performances, event photography, event videography, raffle items, free beer donated by Hop Life Brewing Company, vendors, sponsors, non-profits, special guests and more to be announced!
All proceeds from this event go to benefit The Coaliton For Attainable Homes non-profit organization. The donations from this event will go to build a veteran duplex in the Saint Lucie County area. Providing housing for the veterans in that area for the first time.
