Crane Broiler Festival Chicken Chase 5K

5K Trail Run and 1 Mile Run/Walk

The majority of the 5K route will be along the city’s public trail system, which is smooth gravel. The 1 mile route will be on paved surfaces, with the exception of a very short gravel portion. The 1 mile route will be suitable for strollers. 

Saturday August 23, race begins at 7:30 AM - Main Street, Downtown Crane. Please arrive 15 minutes early. 

After August 7th t-shirts will no longer be available

Proceeds from the race will go toward Discover

Crane, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the betterment of the Crane

community.

Cost per runner: 

$25 - Adults (with t-shirt) 

$10 - Kids (ages 7 to 15) (without a t-shirt)

$0 - Kids 6 and under  

$15 - t-shirt ONLY

Race packets and T-shirts can be picked up on Friday at the Broiler Festival or the morning of the race. Please check the Facebook event page for the race and the Crane Broiler Festival or Discover Crane Facebook page for updates.

One Male and One Female Prize given for each class. No awards given for 1 mile walk.

The Crane Broiler Festival parade begins at 10 am and the festival’s craft and vendor booths also open at 10 am. We invite you to stay and enjoy the parade and the festival after the race!
