Event Description
Halle Blair Pugh was born on July 21, 2024, and from her very first moments, she lit up the room. She loved milk and delighted in "babbling," bringing joy and laughter to those around her. On November 29, 2024, Halle passed away at just four months old due to Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), which is the sudden and unexplained death of an otherwise healthy baby under the age of one. Her final day with us fell on Thanksgiving, a day celebrating our gratitude for the precious gift that Halle was. Though her time was brief, her spirit touched our hearts profoundly, reminding us to cherish every moment. Although we miss our "chunk chunk", we know she is forever happy in Heaven.
In honor of Halle’s memory, Richie Williams State Farm has partnered with her family and is hosting a 5K Fundraiser Run/Walk to raise awareness about SIDS and support research and education efforts. The event will bring the community together to celebrate Halle’s life and work toward a future where fewer families experience the heartbreak of SIDS.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will be donated to First Candle, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preventing SIDS & infant deaths and supporting grieving families.
