The Trojan Trot at the Track

This event will be a 1 Mile race on the track at CHASE High School hosted by the CHASE High School Cross Country team. The race will be run under the stadium lights Saturday evening August 2nd. Come join us and race your friends and test your speed over the shorter 1 mile distance. 

Due to the limited number of runners that can easily run around the track at one time this race will be split into several heats based on estimated finish time, runners will be placed in heats with other runners with similar estimated finish times. The goal of this is to reduce the number of runners that get lapped and to allow for a more enjoyable experience for runners of all ability levels.  Total heat number and start times will be determined closer to the date of the race based on the number of runners entered. 

REGISTRATION

As you complete your registration please estimate the time you believe you will finish the race in. An accurate estimation is important to ensure proper heat placement and an overall smooth event. 

It is suggested that you use recent workout paces or races to make your estimation.

Packet Pick-up and Heat Sheets

Race Bib Numbers will be available for pick up starting at 5:00 pm on race day. 

In addition to picking up your bib number you will need to take note of the heat you will be running in. Each heat will have a specific start time. Each participant will need to take note of their own heat number and heat start time so that they do not miss their run. 

A 'Kids Fun 400m' will be featured for children 8 and under giving them the opportunity to race 1 lap around the track.

In lieu of offering shirts as a giveaway we will offer a reduced entry fee of $15.
