Description

The High Point Sprint Triathlon returns to Oak Hollow Lake at Oak Hollow Marina for an exciting summer morning of multisport racing for both adults and youth. This Sprint triathlon and aquabike event is part of the Trivium Multisport Series, offering athletes the opportunity to earn series points while racing in a supportive, well-organized environment. With dedicated adult racing and youth racing, the High Point Sprint is a standout community event that welcomes first-time racers, seasoned triathletes, and young athletes alike.

Adult Race Options
  • Triathlon (Individual or Relay): Swim Course: 500 meter - Bike Course: 11.9 miles - Run Course: 3.1 miles
  • Aquabike: Swim Course: 500 meter & Bike Course: 11.9 miles

Both races take place on the scenic roads and waterfront surrounding Oak Hollow Lake, making this a fast, fun, and approachable race for a wide range of experience levels.

Youth race options include:
  • Youth Long Triathlon (Ages 11-15): Swim Course: 200 yards - Bike Course: 6 miles - Run Course: 1.5 miles
  • Youth Short Triathlon (Ages 7-10): Swim Course: 100 yards - Bike Course: 3 miles - Run Course: .75 miles

Youth racing takes place after adult events, creating a family-friendly atmosphere where kids can race and parents can cheer them on.

The High Point Sprint Youth Triathlon offers a safe, encouraging introduction to multisport for younger athletes, with age-appropriate distances and a focus on fun and confidence-building.

Ages 13-15 and 16-19 have the option to do the High Point Sprint Triathlon (non-youth option)

This race continues to be a favorite because it offers:
  • A scenic venue at Oak Hollow Lake and Oak Hollow Marina
  • Sprint triathlon and aquabike options for adult athletes
  • Dedicated youth racing with long and short triathlon distances
  • Inclusion in the Trivium Multisport Series for medals and points
  • A welcoming race environment for beginners and experienced racers
  • A well-organized course and smooth race-day logistics
  • A fun summer race that brings the multisport community together

Youth Long Course Info

Ages: 11-12, 13-15

Swim Course
This swim course is one of the best parts about this race.   Everyone feels very safe with the multitude of kayaks,  and safety boats on the water.  Swimmers are never far from support.

Bike Course: Rolling Hills
Keeping this course as closed as possible, we will keep athletes on Centennial with lots of volunteers to keep participants safe!

Run Course
This safe run course is the same as the High Point Sprint Tri, but one less loop for the long course, and without the campground loop for the short course. There is one large hill on this course but it is still a fun run course!
