Snowflake Kids Sprint
The plan is to move forward with a live event for the 2026 Chilly Chili!
New Date: March 1st 2026
Due to the winter storm and the Governor’s declared State of Emergency, we have made the difficult decision to postpone the Chilly Chili Run.
Thank you, everyone, who signed up for this year's Chilly Chili. After many conversations with our local leaders about weather conditions and adhering to the state of emergency declared by Governor Hochul, we are postponing this year's Chilly Chili out of an abundance of caution.
If you plan on attending the new date (March 1) there is nothing further you need to do. Your original registration is still valid. If you picked up your bib and race packet at Fleet Feet already, please KEEP THOSE BIBS for the new race date. Please let us know if you CAN'T make the new date and we can switch you to the virtual event. You can do this by selecting the options listed on our registration page or by emailing the race.
The Chilly Chili is a fundraiser for the Cazenovia Children's House and we are incredibly grateful for your support as this race helps us care for and educate the youngest members of our community all year long. Thank you, also, to all of our amazing volunteers, sponsors, and donors. We are eternally grateful! Stay warm, stay safe, and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

Description
The 21st Annual Chilly Chili 5K Run/Walk will be Sunday, March 1, 2026. The Snowflake Sprint will begin at 11:30, followed by the 5k starting at noon. After the race there will be a party with chili samples, live music, raffles and a silent auction inside the Caz Middle School gym.
All proceeds from the Chilly Chili benefit Cazenovia Children’s House (CCH), a nonprofit daycare serving our community for over 50 years. This year, CCH is breaking ground on a grant-funded renovation of the building we’ve called home for 30 years. While the grant covers construction, your support helps us meet the additional costs needed to ensure CCH continues providing excellent care for local children and families. Thank you!

Course Map
The Original Chilly Chili Run Course is Back!
The 5K starts at the High School, heading East on Nickerson Street and then South on Lincklaen Street. After turning right onto Seminary Street, the route then turns north winding through the village and town ending back in front of the Middle School
The Snowflake Kids Sprint is an 800-meter (1/2 mile) run/walk for kids, at any age, and begins 30 min. before the Chilly Chili Run. This is free for kids.
Chili Party
Race day packet pickup and race day registration ($40) will begin at 10am-12:45pm. Runners can gather inside the middle school gym until the 12 pm start.
Friends and family may attend the after party for $5.
