Race Day Traffic
The roads are closed during the race. There are multiple sections on Rt 703 that we maintain one way traffic. Please be sure you stay on the portion of the highway that is closed to vehicle traffic. Our trail vehicle will move around the course according to our cut-off schedule (based on a 4hr half marathon pace). If you fall behind the trail vehicle pace, you'll have to be removed from the course or will be required to finish as a pedestrian on the open road. Please understand that our road re-opening and our aid station shutdown will maintain this schedule and anyone still on the course will be unsupported.
Rt 703 on the North Side of the Lake will be closed to West Bound Traffic and will only have traffic flowing East in the East Bound Lane. Residents and spectators are encouraged to utilize Rt 29 in lieu of 703.
IMPORTANT NOTE: - Even though traffic is being managed by law enforcement and emergency personnel, participants should be aware of potential traffic conflicts at all times. All lanes that the race is being run in will be closed for runners, but caution should always be taken.
