Nine Miles for Nine Lives Fitness Challenge

We are once again inviting you to get your fit on for the felines! Walk, run, ride, or crawl a total of nine miles during the month of August to benefit cats in the Susquehanna Valley. You can cover the distance all at once, or break it into chunks. Encourage friends and family to join you, or ask them support Cherished Cats, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, through your fundraising page. You can even link it directly to a official fundraiser on Facebook to make it easy! (when prompted, you will have to allow RunSignUp to manage Facebook fundraisers for that) Ask your friends and family to sponsor a mile or encourage you to go further or faster! However you cover the distance, we appreciate your support!

All participants will receive a fun swag bag to be picked up at our celebration event in September (more details coming soon!), at The Scratching Post, or shipped for an additional fee, including an awesome t-shirt (if registered by 8/6/23), and other nice goodies. NOTE: Swags bags will not be available prior to the event, but will be worth the wait! Bags not picked up at The Scratching Post by the end of September will be forfeited.

Be safe out there, have fun, and be sure to get some recovery time snuggling with your cats (best heating pads ever!).

*Prizes will be awarded in the following categories:

-Most miles run

-Most miles biked

-Most miles walked

-Two random participants who log at least 9 total miles

In order to be eligible for the running, biking or walking categories, you may only log miles for that type of exercise. So, to be eligible to be a top runner, only log your running miles (no walking or biking). This is on your honor, but please know the cats are watching, they KNOW, and they will vomit on your pillow for cheating.
