Rapid City Kids' Triathlon

The 11th Annual Kids and Family Fun Triathlon. the event will be broken down into solo competition for kids and a family relay race Triathlon. Solo competitor will have different distance dependind on their age. Age groups will be: 6 year olds and younger (25yds swim-1mile bike-1/2 mile run); 7-8 year olds (50 yds swim-2.5 mile bike-1.0 mile run); 9-10 year olds (100 yds swim-3 mile bike-1.5 mile run); 11-12 year olds (200 yds swim- 4 mile bike-2.0 mile run); and 13-15 year olds (300 yds swim- 5.0 mile bike-2.5 mile run).
Family Relay require 4 family members(two Adults and two Kids) to compete. These relays will be scored based on the children ages (10 year old and under,11-15 years, and mixed ages). Family will swim 200 yards- bike 4.0 mile, 2 mile run.
